What more can I say?  It does EXACTLY what it says on the tin!  This amazingly infectious game will have you transfixed for hours.  I started playing it on the way to work earlier in the week, and I’m well and truly hooked.

It’s basically just a simple a board game with a twist.  There are two counters on the board, and you control one of them.  In each turn, you move your counter to adjacent square on the board (up/down, left/right or diagonally), then you place a ‘block’ in the board.  The goal is to be able to move when it’s your turn, so if you can trap your opponent before you get trapped, then you’ve won.

You can play on your own, or against a friend (on the same iPhone – multiplayer via bluetooth is apparently on track for the iPhone 3.0 update in June).  Beat the computer, and you can unlock 4 levels which get progressively harder – the last one is particularly challenging!

Once you’ve done completing the levels, you can concentrate on getting your thinking times better (there are some very competitive times listed in the Facebook group http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=74525134804).

According to the official website boxdgame.com, the’re be an update really soon (I can’t wait!), and there’s more work in the pipeline!

Currently it’s selling at $0.99.

Yeah, I like it. Looks a lot simpler than other games, but I’ve spent ages playing on it.

Even started a mini tournament with the guys at work using the two player mode!

Really looking forward to those updates – I wouldn’t have bothered checking the game website if you hadn’t pointed it out!
