Wireless flash drive and file manager

Instantly convert your iPhone to a wireless Flash Drive without the use of a cable. Simply connect your iPhone to your computer’s Internet browsers such as IE, FireFox, Safari, Finder for the Mac OS, or the WebDAV clients such as Transmit. With an IP address that Discover provides, you can easily upload or download the files between the computer and iPhone.

Sharing files with your friends over the air

Want to share pictures or documents with your friends in class, at a party or in a conference? Our “Nearby” function can detect other iPhones in close proximity and enable you to share files with them via Wi-Fi networks. If you choose to add the MobileMe service, Discover can support the emailing of files from your actual iPhone.

Multi-format file reader

Dicover contains a Multi-format files viewer that allow you to view documents, code, audio, video, photos, and more. Special features, such as bookmarks, would easily allow you to read while on-the-go. In addition, Discover also now supports the formats docx, xlsx, and pptx.

- My review is this application ROCKS!! EXCELLENT! A Must Have!!

In my own words, this application allows me to upload my favorite videos into my iPhone such as Trailers (converted from youtube FLV to MP4 format using some free tools online (DVDVideoSoft) and upload to my iPhone for offline viewing.

When my friends installed his free version of Discover, we can share files with each other as long we are using the same WIFI which is useful especially many people complains that iPhone lacks bluetooth transfer functionality including storing files!

The best is it’s also a PDF reader, and even can open up word documents, excel and many more but of course it cannot edit those files on iPhone! haha.

One feature that was removed from previous version was the transferring MP3 to the iPhone MP3 list because apple restrict external application from accessing MP3 which is a bummer.

The photos too cannot be synchronized to the iPhone own photo album but who cares, I can upload photos via my iTunes but unfortunately cannot share it with my friends directly…but only can email to them one at a time.

Other than these 2 small limitations, which is insignificant compared to it’s major achievement to make iPhone to become a complete portable entertainment centre now with files sharing via WIFI functionality!
